The Lowcock family has been in continuous operation as a building contractor since 1918. The business was commenced by J.M. (Jack) Lowcock and carried on under his management until 1957 when the business passed to J.D. (Doug) Lowcock and the company J.D. Lowcock & Co. Pty. Ltd. was established.

The company carried on under Doug’s management until 1982. Robert & Mark Lowcock, took over management upon J.D’s retirement until their retirement in 2017. Jack Lowcock transitioned the company to Lowcock Builders Pty Ltd and continued to expand to what it is today.
